Further procedures were done for the amendments to postal service in Thailand by His Majesty.

On 25 February,1977, it came into being as “Communication Of Thailand (CAT)” as per the Communications Act of B.E 2519. This includes all the operational activities including postal services from the Post and Telegraph Department. They aim to improve and develop services to progress with system and service quality at international standards.
