About/History of Chunghwa Post

Chunghwa Post affiliation with the Universal Postal Union started in 1914 and ended in 1972 when it was replaced by China Post. Earlier, the mail cannot be delivered or sent directly to Taiwan, but with the help of third-party countries. With the necessity to broaden the scope of service, the amendments to the Postal service were passed in July 2002.
